When we’re born…

When we’re born again we‘re born of the Spirit and the Lord Jesus Christ came into our heart.
What do we mean by that? Over the years when I was ministering at a meeting like this, I would watch the Lord Jesus come in and He would come up and step right into me and he would change and begin to operate in an apostolic anointing and I would think why has He stepped into me again if He’s already in me? At times I see the Lord Jesus Christ come and step into people. When the church comes together He is here in our midst, present, externally; where two or three are gathered, He is there in the midst (Matthew 18:20)- we are gathered together in His name to focus on His person – this is a key – Psalms 57:7-8. How can He be here and in us at the same time? What does it mean? In what way is Christ in us? Ezekiel 11:19Ezekiel 36:26 – he was prophesying about the coming new birth.
When we are born, we are born with a spirit; it is alive, it is our spirit and it exists but it is dead to God. When we are born again something happens to your spirit. The Bible talks about regeneration and the washing of the word – did Christ come along and step into you? Did you lose your identity and now there’s just Christ in you? God put into your spirit His very – own nature- your spirit is the real you! One of the things that God is doing these days is breaking the outer man so that we can live from our spirit instead of from our soul. Most Christians are born again but their spirit is encased by their soul/physical body -demands of the soul, appetites of the body – so there’s not really a manifestation of who you really are because who you are is in your spirit.1 Peter 1:23 “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible seed, by the word of God, which lives and abides for ever.”1 John 3:9 “Whoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for His seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God”. – Neville Johnson
